So happy it's open again. The remodelling is nice but it kept the same feel and layout I remember as a kid. The milkshakes and ice cream are still to die for!
The service time was quite long and I was not impressed by the food. My wife ended up feeling sick the rest of the day after having her open faced turkey sandwich. The ice cream was great though, but I won't be coming back to eat.
So happy they reopened after several years. The Lieby's family is running it again. They have the BEST hot bacon dressing , ice creams, and their pies are in high demand.
First time here ordered meatloaf and home made stuffing my hubby ordred the chicken croquettes with mashed potatoes. Stuffing was great mashed potatoes were made with real potatoes. Meatloaf was so good you could actually taste real meat! The service was so quick we were seated and had our order in and food delivered all within 30 minutes! Great service we are definetly coming back.
A wonderful American restaurant. The usual fair. Where this place shines like a beacon in the dark is their desserts. Their home made pies and locally made ice cream have been a favorite of locals for decades. If you're visiting the area and don't stop in you are doing yourself a disservice!
