My family and I have been going camping at Rosemount for years. This past weekend my sister's family and my family, rented cabins we always had a GREAT time. I am sorry to say we did not this time. Before we went I called to make sure dogs were allowed the campground just bought by new owners so we wanted to make sure it was ok. I was told yes. We all packed our bags and dogs and went camping. We were in the new cabins, they were really nice. As we were getting settled the owners came by and started saying no dogs allowed. I said we were told yes they were I called, they said we just bought the camp site and no they are not also saying my dog was a vicious breed she is a pitbull and can not be on site. After a lot of arguing they said we can keep them but they are NOT allowed in cabins. We agreed to let them out side and have them sleep in our cars. This was about 4:00. We unpacked and started a fire, dogs were chained laying by us they didn't even bark. To make a LONG story short we were tryin to have a nice time but were harassed about 6 times in 8 hours by the owners who kept coming back to see if dogs were in cars. We told them they would go in when we went to sleep. After a few more heated talks the owner did come by and apologize but by that time our weekend that we all were looking forward to was ruined. It really was sad because Rosemont is a beautiful campground the cabins are nice and where we live it is close. Our family always enjoyed camping there. But sorry to say we won't be going there again. We were ready to rent out more cabins for next year but we will find another campground.
Pretty tight camp sites and really packed on the weekends. Great for kids and weekend getaways.
We have been going to Rosemount Camping Resort since our kids were little. Now in their 20s, we as a family camp there every year with my extended family. Rosemount now has three brand-new cabins centrally located with bathrooms that have a toilet and sink which come in very handy now that we have such a large group camping every June. There are lots of things to do for the children such as swimming, bingo, ping-pong, shuffleboard and a really cool playground. There is a small general store with prices that are reasonable and where kids and adults alike can get delicious ice cream. It is family-owned and everyone who works there is always extremely welcoming. We look forward to going again this June to this wonderful campground!
Great camping resort have been going there for 10 years now and it gets better every year. Everyone is so nice and helpful.
